Apple is now offering 100 promo codes per app version for any developer selling an application in its App Stores. Previously, the maximum number of codes a developer could request was 50.

The news isn’t official yet, but developers are beginning to report that Apple is now allowing them to request up to 100 promo codes per application update, enabling them to put their app in the hands of 100 testers per release.

Previously, the cap was 50 promo codes per application release (new IP or update).

Developers seeking to obtain codes from Apple are now greeted by the following message: “Enter the number of codes you are requesting for the application below. You are given 100 codes for each version of an application. They are for non-commercial use and will expire four weeks after they are requested.”
