Apple is finally offering a quick-access panel to the iOS Settings and your most-used apps and services via Control Center, a new feature in iOS 7 which you can invoke by a simple swipe-up gesture.

Giving you quick access to the controls and apps you use the most, Control Center can be brought up by just swiping up from any screen, including the Lock screen.

The panel offers ON/OFF toggles for Airplane mode and Wi-Fi, as well as a brightness slider and a cool Flashlight app which will undoubtedly mark the demise of hundreds of third-party solutions available in the iTunes App Store.

“Turn on or off Airplane mode, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Do Not Disturb. Lock your screen’s orientation or adjust its brightness. Play, pause, or skip a song. Connect to AirPlay-enabled devices. And quickly access your flashlight, timer, calculator, and camera,” reads Apple’s description.

iOS 7 is currently only available as a developer preview and will be released to the public this fall.
