Maxthon Technology Limited has released a minor incremental update for users of its iOS web browser, announcing some upcoming fixes in the release notes.

Maxthon Web Browser Free 4.5.1 arrives with “bug fixes,” with no specific issues being mentioned in the release notes.

If your web browsing experience has been less than stellar on Maxthon, surely this update will make things better.

Interestingly, Maxthon decided not to discuss the fixed issues, but rather some upcoming features. The browser is getting a cool Quick Access option that should work much like the Speed Dials in Opera and Safari. Maxthon explains:

“To provide you with the best browser performance for iOS7, we have recreated Maxthon from the ground up! We are currently working on a Customizable Quick Access page, which will make it easy for you to access your favorite websites with just one click! The Customizable Quick Access page will be available in the next few releases.”

This, building on top of all the awesome features Maxthon has to offer. I'd say Chrome, Opera, and Safari are in for some stiff competition.
