iOS 7, the next version of Apple’s mobile operating system that has been officially unveiled earlier this month, hasn’t been released to users out there, but it seems that more and more people are enjoying its features, despite this state of facts.

According to a recent report from TNW, application developers are seeing more active users running iOS 7 on their devices when compared to those who own handsets powered by iOS 5.

Tapbots’ Paul Haddad is one of these devs, who confirmed that adoption of iOS 7 is on the rise despite the fact that the platform hasn’t been officially pushed to users as of yet.

The Iconfactory, the company behind Twitterrific, reports that there are around three times more iOS 7 users taking advantage of its app when compared to owners of iOS 5 devices.

At the moment, the dominant platform in Apple’s mobile ecosystem is iOS 6, with over 93 percent users having it installed on their devices.
