New accessibility feature allows users to control their iOS device with head gestures

Apple is making a new addition to its Accessibility menu in iOS 7, delivering a way for users to control their iPhone or iPad using head movements.

As demonstrated in the clip above, in iOS 7, a user can control his / her iPad by moving their head left and right. Depending on where the cursor is at a given time, each movement either means entering a menu or launching an app. The reverse movement takes you back (i.e. the previous menu).

While it may seem a cumbersome way to navigate iOS (and it is), people with certain disabilities will find the feature quite useful.

With this new addition, Apple is again affirming its commitment to make iOS accessible to everyone, including the visually impaired, people with serious physical disabilities, mentally challenged users, etc.
