Jay Freeman (aka Saurik) updates the look and feel of his rogue app store

Following the controversial release of Evasi0n7 with a bundled TaiG app store for Chinese speakers, Jay Freeman (aka @saurik in Twitter circles) has updated his own app store, Cydia, to match the look of iOS 7.

Bundled by default with most jailbreaks, Cydia has become the go-to place for the latest tweaks, themes, sounds, and basically every app that got rejected by Apple. The Cydia app store is run by Jay Freeman, a veteran of the jailbreak scene.

Cydia hasn’t changed its functionality, despite sporting a different appearance, including simpler graphics and translucency. The icon has yet to get the same makeover, for one reason or another.

Evasi0n7 can jailbreak all devices under iOS 7, while Sn0wbreeze provides an untethered jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3, 6.1.4, and 6.1.5 firmware versions. Currently, there are very few jailbreak tweaks designed to work with iOS 7.
