Apple is offering its “testing partners” (i.e. not regular developers) a third beta of iOS 7.1 which includes some aesthetic changes, as well as iOS in the Car integration. The latter feature is said to be a tough nut to crack.

According to a BGR report, “Apple has begun seeding a new build of iOS 7.1 to testing partners.” This information reportedly comes from a trusted source who said  that iOS 7.1 beta 3 brings several important fixes and new features.

The source was reportedly “uncomfortable” detailing these features, but hinted that the new iOS in the Car feature is delaying the public release of the software until March 2014.

Apple usually releases its first iOS point-one updates in January. However, such delays are not unheard of. iOS 7.1 beta 2 is currently available for download to people enrolled with Apple’s iOS Developer Program.
