It appears that even after the release of iOS 6.0.1, 6.0.2, and even 6.1, some Apple customers are still experiencing sound issues with their iPhones after making the leap from iOS 5 to iOS 6.
A growing thread on Apple’s forum has racked up close to 70,000 views on the topic “Sound problems since IOS 6 update.” Several other threads are actively discussing the same issue.
User Feinah reports in brief what everyone else is saying, “i had [a] problem.. after update to IOS6, my iPhone 4S had no sound from speaker - only with headphones. cant play music or games with sound.”
The problem remains unresolved since September 20, 2012, around the time iOS 6 made its debut alongside the iPhone 5.
Users are also complaining about connectivity issues and short battery life with all iOS 6 iterations, including the original 6.0 builds, and
the latest 6.1 update released two weeks ago.
