Learn when to expect the latest update from Cupertino

Should Apple stay in line with previous iOS launch times, the latest version of the company’s mobile operating system should hit servers around 10 AM PST / 6 PM UK time.

Of course, not all the world’s iDevice owners live in the US and the UK. Which is why some people were thoughtful enough to release the launch times for every major city in the world, pictured here and here (and above, for some areas).

For example, we ourselves (living in South-Eastern Europe) can expect iOS 6 to hit iTunes around 8 p.m.

iOS 6 is compatible with iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, the new iPad, iPad 2 and iPod touch (fourth-generation). The software brings Facebook integration, new Siri functionality, an all-new Maps app with Apple-designed cartography and 3D views, the new Passbook application, and more.
