One of the major changes that Apple has included in the newly released iOS 6 beta 3 affected the manner in which users download applications.

Apparently, there is no longer a need to introduce the account password when downloading free applications from iTunes, recent reports on iOS 6 beta 3 unveil.

The feature was spotted for the first time back in early June, when iOS 6 beta 1 removed the password requirement for downloading updates or previous purchases.

The latest update completely removes the need to enter the password when downloading free applications, regardless of whether the user downloaded them before or not, a move that will certainly come in handy for many iOS users.

However, users will still have to introduce their password when downloading paid applications from the Apple App Store.
