iDevice users are complaining over at the Apple Support Communities forums that iOS 5 has crippled their WiFi connection, regardless of the device type or version.

In all senses, iOS 5 is cursed. The software has exhibited a number of widespread issues including battery drainage, audio output, Siri downtime, and now this - iPhone Wi-Fi not working after iOS 5 update.

Users are complaining that ever since they installed the new software, their wireless internet connections have been acting up.

One user even reproduced the steps by reverting to iOS 4.3 then upgrading back to iOS 5 to demonstrate that Apple’s latest iPhone software is the culprit.

Cupertino is known to be testing iOS 5.0.2 internally, a software update that should help alleviate all of the problems enumerated above, and probably others than haven’t yet gained widespread attention. Unfortunately, according to the latest reports from Germany, the software update has been delayed.
