The iOS 4.3.2 software update tasked with fixing several reported bugs has been downloaded and installed on supported hardware, with claims that the new release will fix the FaceTime glitch and problems with 3G connectivity on the iPad 2, among other issues.

A generally reliable source of such leaks, BGR has been talking to its Apple connects and was able to confirm the existence of iOS 4.3.2, which reportedly packs at least two fixes for some widely reported bugs pertaining to Apple's current version of the mobile operating system powering, iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch devices.

Citing one of its Apple sources, the Boy Genius Report claims to have learned that iOS 4.3.2, due out in under two weeks, contains fixes for FaceTime and the 3G connectivity issues surrounding the Verizon (CDMA) iPad 2.

Additional security fixes for WebKit vulnerabilities are also mentioned, as well as other minor changes, though none of these details are confirmed as of yet.

The source in question has proceeded to install the iOS 4.3.2 IPSW file on an unspecified iPhone model and promises to release new information, as it is discovered.

The same blog previously claimed to have learned from its reliable sources that an iOS 4.3.2 was in the works.

Their most recent report does well to keep the fire going, but none of this information can be confirmed as 100% accurate, as Apple’s development cycles are not always predictable.

Still, there are many Apple customers who have become vocal on the aforementioned bugs using the company’s official forums indicating that an iOS software update is imperative in no less than a week, give or take a few days.

Softpedia has picked up and reported on both the FaceTime bug, and the iPad 2 3G connectivity issues using the primary source of information (Apple Discussions forums).

As it stands, we can confirm that numerous customers are definitely experiencing trouble with some iOS functions under the latest version of the software, therefore an update is clearly in order, perhaps even sooner than the timeframe estimated by BGR.
