After tearing down the high-end iPhone 5s, the tinkerers at iFixit decided to give the same treatment to the iPhone 5c. They’ve posted their findings in a neat teardown report, and even worked up a quick summary of the process for YouTube fans.

iFixit notes the presence of pentalobe screws on the iPhone 5c, something that doesn’t seem to surprise the technicians. Immediately after peeking inside the device, the repair shop concludes that the phone’s construction is very similar to the layout inside the iPhone 5 (including the same A6 chip).

Some differences include a larger battery, more adhesive for holding the logic board in place, and a new LTE chip (for multi-spectrum, multi-mode LTE support). iFixit gives the iPhone 5c a repairability score of 6 out of 10 (with 10 being the easiest to repair).
