Devoe Technologies just announced the launch of their first security application for photographers, iCandyCamera for iPhone. Available on the iTunes App Store, this is among the first applications that gives both photographers and their subjects control to protect their photo albums.

Users of iCandyCamera will be able to protect the pictures they take, as well as set permission levels, dual password protection and multiple access monitors.

The only downside of iCandyCamera is the fact that its features only work with photos taken from within the app, as well as existing photo albums.

You will also be able to control the access to the application, as well as the appearance and visibility of the albums.

With only a few clicks you will be able to set whether to show thumbnail images from the album or lock the album entirely from other users of the device.

Another interesting feature of the application, dual secutity control, enables owners of the iPhone to give outside users separate “guest” passwords that limits their actions to viewing photos only.

Other key features of iCandyCamera include: additional access controls, which can be set to determine the availability of the photo or photo album; subjects can set a view counter to lock out the phone owner after a predetermined number of views; users can also set an expiration date to have the album become inaccessible after a set period of time.

Either you're the photographer or the subject of a picture, the application will greatly help you increase the security of your picture albums.

If you love to take pictures with your iPhone, but wish to keep your albums private, then iCandyCamera is the perfect app for the job.

iCandyCamera requires an iPhone device running iOS 4.0 or later, and 1.9 MB storage space. The application is available for download exclusively through the AppStore for only $0.99 USD.
