iBuyPower, a company well renowned for its high-performance gaming systems, has just announced that the Gamer Supreme 922SLCK desktop has become available for purchase exclusively through Tiger Direct.

This is the second system that iBuyPower retails through THE Fountainbleau, Florida-based retailer, after the Gamer Extreme 966 which was launched in mid-March.

The desktop is built around an Intel Core i7-2600K processor, which features four processing cores clocked at 3.4GHz, and comes equipped with 8GB of DDR3-1333MHz memory.

To improve the thermal characteristics of the system and to decrease noise, the Core i7 CPU is paired together with a closed-loop liquid cooling system.

Outside of the fast Intel processors, the system is also configured with a top of the line Nvidia GeForce GTX 580 graphics card which packs no less than 1.5GB of video buffer.

The rest of the system's specs list includes a 1TB hard drive, a dual layer DVD burner, a multi format memory card reader, and an 800W power supply unit.

All of these are housed together inside a Cool Master HAF 922 mid tower case, which includes two front panel USB 3.0 ports as well as an eSATA port and can accommodate up to five internal 3.25-inch drives.

“We are excited to be partnering with Tiger Direct for another great system launch,” said Darren Su, vice president of iBUYPOWER.

“The Gamer Supreme 922SLCK offers the ideal combination power and value and is a strong fit with Tiger’s large gaming customer base,” concluded the company's rep.

The Gamer Supreme 922SLCK desktop system is available from all 33 Tiger Direct stores in five states and Puerto Rico for $1,599.99.

Customers with more specific gaming needs can still configure a customizable gaming PC on the company's website and opt for the hardware that best fits their needs.
