It can be mounted at the back of a television set or monitor

Handheld PCs don't normally have what it takes to power though games, but iBuyPower has introduced one that almost manages it, thanks to a good combo of small form factor computer parts.

Called Hexa, the system was invented by iBuyPower and, while it doesn't have the sheer performance needed to play the latest and best-looking games, it can breeze through pretty much everything else.

The one powered by the AMD Richland A8 -5557M APU will do that especially well, since APUs have better than average graphics.

There is a version powered by the Intel Core i7-4770R though, whose integrated graphics processor (iGP, not GPU) should do well enough in normal computing tasks.

In the end, the size of the Hexa is the most important thing. The mini PC can be held in the palm of your hand or be mounted behind a monitor or HDTV.

So you could treat it as a sort of add-on media player, which can turn any monitor into an all-in-one PC, or a TV into a smart TV (with storage!).

The only thing missing is an integrated battery. Then again, laptops and tablets do need an advantage of their own, otherwise their sales would be slowing down even faster than they are now.
