iBuyPower has just come out with one of the nicest deals on pre-built system this Holiday season with the introduction of the $999 (roughly 742 EUR) Gamer Paladin HS1 that comes complete with an unlocked Intel Sandy Bridge CPU and powerful Nvidia GTX 570 graphics.

The system is housed inside an upgrade friendly NZXT Source 210 mid-tower case and the standard configuration listed by iBuyPower is based on a quad-core Intel Core i5-2500K processor with a base clock frequency of 3.3GHz.

This is kept cool thanks to a 120mm water-cooling system built by Asetek and is seconded by 8GB of DDR3 system memory with a clock speed of 1600MHz.

Storage is provided by a 1TB hard drive with a spindle speed of 7200RPM, while the graphics card of choice is a powerful Nvidia GeForce GTX 570 with 1.2GB of video buffer.

The rest of the specifications list includes a 24x double layer DVD burner, an 800W power supply unit and the system also packs support for 7.1 channel sound thanks to the audio codec installed on the Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3 motherboard.

“The Gamer Paladin HS11 offers gamers a solid entry level rig at a great value,” said Darren Su, Vice President of iBuyPower.

“The system’s flexible design meets the immediate needs of a novice gamer, while providing the option for future upgrades and expansion,” concluded the company’s VP.

The Gamer Paladin HS11 is available now through December 31 exclusively from the company’s website for $999 (roughly 742 EUR).

Those with more specific gaming needs can also choose to configure the system according to their own wishes to include a faster GPU, CPU, more memory or an SSD. iBuyPower also offers its customers the option of getting a factory overclock for an extra fee.
