The new iBall tablet brings Android 4.4 KitKat at a bargain

Looking for an Android 4.4 KitKat tablet but you’re worried it will cost you way more than you’re willing to pay? Fear no more, Indian manufacturer iBall has your back.

The company has just rolled out a new addition to its Slide Performance series, in the form of the Slide 3G Q7271-IPS20 model.

You’d better write down these numbers because, for some twisted reason, iBall wants to confuse you as much as humanly possible with a complex name for its latest tablet product.

The slate comes with low-end specs, but the positive part is that you’ll be getting an Android 4.4 KitKat tablet, not one running on an outdated OS.

The 7-inch tablet arrives with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution (it could have been worse, like 800 x 400 pixels). Power comes from a quad-core 1.3GHz processor with Mali-400MP GPU and fitted with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable via 32GB).

The spec list includes two cameras (2MP on the back and 0.3MP VGA front-facing one), 3G HSPA+ (via SIM card slots), Wi-Fi 802 11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS / A-GPS.

Due to its dual-SIM functionality, customers will also be able to place phone calls. The IPS20 is available in Gold and Black and can be yours for as little as Rs. 8,303 / $136 / €101.
