14 DAY TRIAL // Today, iBall has made official a new tablet PC in India, namely the iBall Slide 3G-9728, a device running under Google’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
Packing a 9.7-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) touchscreen display, the new device is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A9 dual-core processor complemented by 1GB of RAM. It also includes 16GB of internal memory and a microSD memory card slot.
The specs list of the slate shows 3G support, a 6000 mAh battery, and voice calling capabilities on 2G networks. There is also a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, as well as a VGA front camera, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth, MicroUSB, and FM Radio.
The new device was announced with a price tag of INR 15,000 (around $250 / €195), but iBall themselves already list it online a bit cheaper, AndroidOS reports.
