Another day, another affordable Android smartphone gets launched in India. Indian OEM iBall has just released the cheap Andi 4.5z handset via major retailers across the country.

AndroidOS reports that iBall Andi 4.5z is now available for purchase for only Rs 7,499 outright, which is about $120 or €90. The phone has been silently launched in India and has not benefitted from a dedicated press event possibly due to the fact that it doesn't offer anything impressive.

Aside from the low price, the most important feature of iBall's Andi 4.5z is the dual-SIM support, which is mandatory on an emerging market such as India.

It is also worth mentioning that it ships with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system out of the box, which puts it in front of other smartphones in the same price range that come with older versions of Google's mobile platform.

The Andi 4.5z has been confirmed to feature a decent 1.3 GHz dual-core processor, probably delivered by MediaTek. In addition, the phone packs 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The amount of RAM is definitely low and some Android apps and games won't work on Andi 4.5z, but that's the story with all entry-level smartphones.

Nevertheless, the device sports a large 4.5-inch qHD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 540 x 960 pixels resolution.

It also packs an enhanced 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and video recording. A secondary VGA front-facing camera for video calls is included as well.

Other highlights of the iBall Andi 4.5z are Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, 3G support, built-in GPS with A-GPS support, as well as 3.5mm audio jack and 1700 mAh Li-Ion battery that has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
