After Micromax and Lava Mobiles, iBall is the third Indian company to offer customers who purchased one of its products the possibility to upgrade it to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.

AndroidOS reports Android enthusiasts who purchased iBall’s Andi 4.5H smartphone will now be able to update it to Jelly Bean.

The Andi 4.5H was launched in India back in December with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system out of the box and we thought it would be stuck on this version of the mobile platform.

Luckily for those who purchased the smartphone, iBall has confirmed on its blog site that Andi 4.5H owners can head over to the nearest official service center and upgrade their devices to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Unfortunately, there’s no OTA (over the air) update, but at least those who own the smartphone have the choice of upgrading manually.
