The industrial PC expert, Taiwanese-headquartered company iBASE has just announced the new award-winning SI-38 system based on AMD’s Trinity, on its official website.

“SI” is short for “Signature Book,” and it is designed to be a professional grade digital signage system packing extreme performance within ultra-compact dimensions and powered by the new AMD Embedded R-Series Platform.

The new small form factor (SFF) system can be used as a desktop or can be mounted on a wall or on the backside of the display used.

It comes with Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, analog audio and RS-232 serial. The wireless connectivity is optional and the memory supported is of DDR3 type.

Up to 16 gigabytes of memory are supported and a removable 2.5” HDD or SSD unit can be installed.
