i-mate has just unveiled its latest sophisticated 3G Windows Mobile devices with the launch of its Ultimate 6150 and Ultimate 8150 smartphones for the Middle East. Both handsets make some of the most evolved solutions out there, as
they are running on Windows Mobile 6.

i-mate has managed to make its handset portfolio grow at great rates with the help of a partnership with Microsoft. This has enabled them to put the latest version of Windows Mobile in all their devices up to now, making them look like the most evolved solutions for mobile communication.

"Our new Ultimate product portfolio will range iconic devices specified to meet the growing demands of technology savvy and business customers and provide the best specification and form factor mix, with a device to match everyone's needs", said Jack Craine, General Manager MEA and India at i-mate. "The Ultimate device combines sleek design with unbeatable performance and enhanced specifications that will appeal to business users and gadget-lovers who require the very best combination of innovation, design and technology within a complete package - in the form factor of their choice", he further added.

Both 6150 and 8150 Ultimate handsets have Windows Mobile 6 installed and VGA touchscreen. Moreover, they run on a powerful 520 MHz processor and are HSDPA enabled, which makes it possible to reach high data transfer speeds. The devices also feature one advanced and exclusive capability, which is the XGA direct video out. This makes it possible for users to present Microsoft Office applications and videos from their Ultimate device and straight onto a secondary display. The difference between the two devices stands in the dial keypad with XT9 for simple and speedy text entry on the i-mate Ultimate 8150.

There are no price specifications for these two devices at this point, but they can be viewed at GITEX 2007 in the Sheik Rashid Hall, at the Dubai World Trade Center.
