14 DAY TRIAL // In 2017, Hugh Jackman will be reprising the role of Wolverine / Logan for the final time in the yet-to-be-titled sequel to “The Wolverine.” Both he and 20th Century Fox have made it clear that he won’t be returning after this one, so he’s looking to give fans exactly what they expect from his last time as the beloved character.
He’s also looking to tease them: the Aussie posted a new photo of himself in character on his Twitter account, together with an invitation to fans to let him know, in no more than 50 characters, what they’d like to see in the final movie.
Chances are Jackman won’t be able to get the studio to include even one of their suggestions in the script, but he might try. If not, he will at least have made the fans feel like they were a part of the creative process as well.
The photo released is of Wolverine giving the adamantium middle finger claw, in typical Wolverine fashion.
If you kept an eye on the events and releases at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, you probably already recognized the photo, as it was displayed first during the 20th Century Fox “X-Men” panel, to the loud cheers of the fans in Hall H.
