The smartphone is expected to hit the shelves in March

Huawei has just introduced its new flagship smartphones, the P10 and Plus. However, the Chinese company has a few more aces up its sleeve, which haven't been revealed yet.

A toned-down version of the Huawei P10 could be launched on the market in the next couple of weeks. Rumors about the so-called Huawei P10 Lite date from last month, but the phone hasn't been introduced at Mobile World Congress (MWC) as expected.

The good news is the P10 Lite is not listed at some retailers in the Netherlands, which means it won't be long until Huawei makes it official. Moreover, some of the retailers listing the Huawei P10 Lite have also confirmed the smartphone will be available for purchase beginning March for €350 outright.

The P10 Lite doesn't look at all like Huawei's newly announced flagships, but that doesn't mean it's ugly, on the contrary. The phone lacks a physical Home button, so the fingerprint reader has been relocated on the back side.

Instead of the powerful Kirin 960 processor, the P10 Lite is equipped with a decent enough Kirin 655 chip, coupled with a Mali-T830 MP2 graphics processing unit and 4GB RAM. Although the phone packs 32GB of storage inside, users can further expand storage up to 256GB via microSD card.

The P10 Lite is more akin to the regular Huawei P10, hence it sports a 5.2-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

Sadly, the mid-range smartphone doesn't come with dual-lens camera, as Huawei included a 12-megapixel main camera on the back, which features LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. A secondary 8-megapixel selfie camera is included as well, along a 3,000 mAh non-removable battery

Huawei P10 Lite ships with Android 7.0 Nougat and EMUI 5.1 on board. The phone will be available in black, gold and white colors.
