14 DAY TRIAL // Huawei has just officially announced a new mid-range line of smartphones, and it seems that the company has also unveiled a new flagship tablet. Huawei MediaPad M3 is the successor to last year’s Huawei MediaPad M3 and comes with some exciting features.
The Huawei MediaPad M3 boasts premium audio and multimedia capabilities that were designed in partnership with HARMAN International. Huawei CEO Richard Yu has stated that “the introduction of the MediaPad M3 builds on HARMAN’s audio expertise to truly reinvent what tablet audio can deliver.”
The HARMAN Kardon audio system is designed to provide users with an enhanced listening experience. What's more, the tablet also comes with specifically designed AKG H300 earphones that would further improve the audio experience.
The tablet’s design seems quite similar to its predecessor, the MediaPad M2, with curved edges and a compact form. However, Huawei removed its logo from the front of the tablet but kept the thin bezels found on the M2.
Huawei MediaPad M3 comes with a 5,100mAh battery
The tablet sports an aerospace-class aluminum body and has a compact style, making it easy to use. It runs Huawei’s Kirin 950 processor and packs a 5,100mAh battery, which Huawei says can last for up to 11 hours of FHD video playback, up to 6 hours of continuous 3D game playing, and 45 hours of music playback.
Aside from this, Huawei MediaPad M3 comes with an 8.4-inch display with QHD pixel resolution and has a fingerprint scanner on the front. The tablet provides 4GB of RAM and is available in multiple internal storage variants.
The version with 32GB of internal storage and with WiFi connectivity is priced at €349 ($389) while the 32GB variant with LTE and the 64GB version with WiFi carry a price tag of €399 ($445). Besides, there's one other version with 64GB of internal storage and LTE, which also has the highest price of €449 ($501). The tablet will be available starting September 26 in multiple countries, including China, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
