Next week, on September 29, Google is going to unveil its latest Nexus smartphones, one coming from LG and the other coming out of Huawei. The two models are reportedly called the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X and will be the first devices to make a debut into the wild with Android 6.0 Marshmallow pre-installed.

So far, we have seen the two models leak in various images, but today we’re going to show you the first official-looking press render revealing the Nexus 6P's front and back. The image comes to us via the folks at Android Police and shows us what we should be looking forward to next week.

Out of the two Nexus smartphones, the Huawei-made one seems to be higher-end model (if we are to trust the rumor mill). Recently, we told you that according to speculation online, the Nexus 6P is set to arrive with the option of 128GB of storage capacity. This means that Google could be selling the phone with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage.

Huawei's Nexus is this year's premium model

If we're to take this information for granted, it would be sensible to assume that the Nexus 6P won’t come with a microSD card slot on board, as some users might have hoped. As for the Nexus 5X, it looks like the model is the budget-friendly option and will be offered in 16GB and 32GB variants when it comes to storage.

Going back to the Nexus 6P, the phone is expected to make it out with a 5.7-inch display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution and a Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood. The handset should bundle 3GB of RAM and a 13MP/8MP camera combo, although some rumors have speculated that the main camera might end up being of higher capacity.

Another interesting aspect related to the Nexus 6P is that the model will apparently be released with a barometer inside. We don’t know how the phone will make use of this component, but we have to assume it will ship with some apps or features that will take advantage of atmospheric pressure measurements.

The Huawei Nexus 6P will make its debut on the market in a few days. So are you ready for it?
