Huawei released their new flagship smartphone the Mate 20 Pro today, a powerhouse running Android 9.0 Pie and packing a 6.4-inch OLED panel and an octa-core 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC bundling a Mali-G76 MP10 GPU coupled with 8 GB of RAM.

The Mate 20 Pro also features an in-display fingerprint scanner using Huawei's Dynamic Pressure Sensing tech for providing instant response and instant unlocks of the device with just a touch of your finger.

Moreover, Huawei's Mate 20 Pro also comes with a 4200 mAh with wireless charging allowing for easy charging without the need of a wired charger, as well as Wireless Reverse Charge designed to enable users to "borrow" power from other Mate 20 Pro owners.

The Huawei flagship bundles a triple camera with Leica lenses which with the help of Artificial Intelligence makes it possible to take perfect-looking photos in multiple lighting conditions.

Moreover, Mate 20 Pro's main camera has a 40 MP RGB lens for everyday scenarios, an 8 MP telephoto lens one for extra focusing when taking distant shots, and a 20 MP ultra-wide-angle camera for macro and landscape snapshots.

The phones front-facing camera, on the other hand, is a 24 MP unit with a f/2.0 aperture which features a 3D Depth sensor which makes it possible to use your face to lock and unlock the device.

Additionally, the Mate 20 Pro also comes with a whole array of sensors from gravity, proximity, and ambient light sensors to gyroscope, compass, barometer, infrared, and in-screen fingerprint sensors.

Depending on the model you buy, Huawei's Mate 20 Pro features 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage or 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.

The Mate 20 Pro also comes with IP68 dust and water resistance certification ratings making it suitable for use if you intend to use it in environments with dirt, sand, and dust, and to dive at a maximum of 1.5m for no more than 30 minutes.

Huawei's Mate 20 Pro is available starting today, and it will have a price tag of €1,049 for the 6 GB model with 128 internal storage.
