Huawei released the Honor 8 not long ago, and the company’s flagship comes with many powerful features, including 4GB of RAM and an octa-core Kirin 950 processor. Pre-orders for the smartphone started in the US on August 17, and it seems that the device is already available for purchase on the manufacturer’s website.

Huawei officially announced the Honor 8 for the US market last week, and it has kept its word. The unlocked version of the smartphone is up for sale on the HiHonor, a US online store, for the price of $399.99, and customers who register on the website will get a $50 coupon upon every purchase.

Honor 8 comes in multiple color variants, including white, gold, black, blue, and pink, but only the white variant is available at this point. The smartphone has recently launched in many other regions, including Europe, the Middle East, and Russia. Honor Malaysia has also announced that it will be made available in the country next week.

Huawei’s Honor 8 comes with very powerful specs, certainly suitable for a flagship phone. It sports a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS display with 423ppi and runs Huawei’s octa-core Kirin 950 processor.

It also comes with 4GB of RAM, and it’s available in two variants, one with 32GB of internal storage and the second with 64GB of memory. The internal memory can be expanded on both variants to 128GB by using a microSD card.

Aside from this, the smartphone has a battery capacity of 3,000mAh with fast charging, and it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Expect Huawei to update the handset to Android 7.0 Nougat as soon as possible.

Honor 8 also features a 12MP dual camera setup on the back while the front camera capacity can reach 8MP. In addition, the smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor that can unlock the device in about 0.4 seconds.
