Huawei launched the Honor 7i in China back in August, but did not confirm the smartphone's availability in other regions.

The Honor 7i is a mid-end Android smartphone, which differentiates itself from other devices in the same price range thanks to its rotating camera.

The device comes with a 13-megapixel rear-facing photo snapper that can be used as a front-facing camera as well by simply rotating it. The phone's camera comes with dual-LED flash, autofocus and full HD (1080p) video recording.

Today, German blog Winfuture.de reports the Honor 7i has just made its debut in Europe. In fact, the handset is now available for pre-order in Germany for $395 (€345) outright.

However, it looks like Huawei has decided to use another name for the Honor 7i in Europe, so if you want to purchase this mid-range device, then look for Huawei ShotX.

All pre-orders are expected to be delivered in two weeks

The European version of Honor 7i comes with the same specs as the Chinese version, but for those out of the loop, here is a quick rundown of what it has to offer.

First of all, the smartphone ships with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system right out of the box. Also, the ShotX sports a decent 5.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution.

On the inside, Huawei's ShotX smartphone is equipped with 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, an Adreno 405 graphics processing unit and 2GB of RAM.

Furthermore, the handset comes with 16GB of storage inside, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

As mentioned earlier, it packs the same 13-megapixel rotating camera with dual-LED flash and supports 4G LTE connectivity. It's also powered by a decent 3,100 mAh battery, which has yet to be rated by the manufacturer.
