Huawei Honor 7 is one of the most popular Android flagship smartphones available on the market. The device was officially introduced in China back in June and already had 9 million pre-orders in the first week.

The high-end handset made its debut in Europe this summer where it sold for around €350 outright. Well, it looks like Huawei now plans to bring its Honor 7 flagship smartphone in India.

According to the company, Huawei Honor 7 will be officially unveiled in India on October 7, though we're not sure whether or not the smartphone will go on sale on the same day as well.

There is no info on pricing options yet, but rumor has it that the Honor 7 might be priced at around Rs 20,000 ($305 / €270), which is much cheaper than the European version.

We also believe Indian customers will be given the option to purchase the dual-SIM version of Huawei Honor 7, not the single SIM model that's available internationally.

Moving on to specs, Huawei Honor 7 ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system right out of the box, but we can safely assume the Chinese company will provide an Android 6.0 Marshmallow update at some point next year.

On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a powerful 2.2GHz octa-core HiSilicon Kirint 935 processor, a Mali-T628 MP4 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM.

The Honor 7 comes in two versions based on the amount of storage: 16GB and 64GB. The good news is users can further expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot, which uses one of the SIM slots.

Furthermore, the handset sports a 5.2-inch IPS-NEO LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution. It also packs fingerprint sensor and non-removable 3,100 mAh battery.

Huawei Honor 7 features an impressive 20-megapixel rear-facing camera with phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, as well as a no-less-impressive 8-megapixel camera in the front for selfies and video calls.
