HTC is said to be working on a new Ocean concept line of smartphones, which will apparently come with some interesting features. New information shows that HTC is preparing three models in the series.

Last week, an HTC designer showed the concept of an upcoming smartphone developed by the company. It seems that HTC Ocean will come with a touch-sensitive frame, which lets designers add contextual controls that would take up little screen space.

The feature carries the name Sense Touch and will come with an option to allow users to control the camera while within the photography app. The design of the smartphone was also showcased and it seems that it combines elements from HTC 10 with details from the Google Pixel smartphones, created in partnership with HTC.

Also, it seems that the smartphone won't come with any physical buttons, in line with the Sense Touch concept.

HTC is working on Ocean Smart, Ocean Note and Ocean Master

According to Android Headlines, leakster LabTooFeR revealed that HTC might actually launch three smartphones in the Ocean series. The three devices will carry the names HTC Ocean Note, Ocean Smart, and Ocean Master. Unfortunately, there's not much information on the upcoming devices, but more details are bound to surface soon.

Presumably, HTC Ocean Smart will be the basic model, while the Master could have the most powerful specifications and the Ocean Note might have the largest display, but that remains to be seen.

On October 4, Google will announce the upcoming Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, developed in partnership with HTC. The smartphones were rebranded from Nexus Sailfish and Marlin, and they will carry a G logo on the back.

Recently, HTC announced two new smartphones in the Desire series, HTC Desire 10 Pro and Desire 10 Lifestyle, which might not be made available in the US.
