14 DAY TRIAL // HTC introduced the mid-range One X9 in China back in December, but as we reported to you earlier this month, the Taiwanese company intended to bring the smartphone to other regions as well.
Today, HTC announced that the One X9 would be available for purchase in North Asia and EMEA from the end of February. No word on price yet, but the smartphone cost around $370 in China, so we expect a similar price tag for the rest of the world.
The metal-clad smartphone ships with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box and HTC Sense 7.0 UI on top of it.
The One X9 will be available in multiple color options such as Carbon Grey, Opal Silver, Topaz Gold, and Copper Rose.
Although the Chinese model comes with dual-SIM support, it's unclear whether or not this feature will be available for the rest of the world as well.
MediaTek Helio X10 CPU and 13MP camera with advanced features
However, HTC confirmed the One X9 comes equipped with a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor, paired with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage.
At the back, the phone packs a 13-megapixel photo snapper with second OIS (optical image stabilization) and Real-time anti-shake functionality, while in the front there's a secondary 5-megapixel camera with Auto Selfie, Voice Selfie and Live Make Up.
HTC's phablet sports a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, and comes with BoomSound speakers on the front, along with a 3,000 mAh battery inside.
