The One X10 is one of HTC's projects that hasn't been made official yet, but with MWC 2017 tech fair just around the corner, there's a high chance that the Taiwanese company might debut its new smartphone.

Unlike the HTC U Ultra that was introduced last month, the One X10 is a mid-range Android smartphone that doesn't stand out specs-wise. Now that we've had the chance to take a look at the phone's front side, it doesn't seem to bring anything new on the table in terms of design either.

The new live image of the HTC One X10 has been recently published by someone on Slashleaks, your every day go-to website for the latest images of unannounced phones.

First of all, it's worth noting that the picture shows a brand new One X10 that has just got been pulled out from its original retail package, which makes us believe HTC will make it official in the next couple of weeks.

The leaked picture doesn't come with any details about what's under the hood, so we're left with what details we could hoard from the previous leaks. According to the latest reports, the mid-range One X10 will ship with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system right out of the box.

Totally unimpressive specs for a mid-priced smartphone

Aside from that, there will be few other differences in comparison with the previous One X9 model, which was launched on the market last year.

The One X10 is said to pack a 1.9GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6755 processor, along with a Mali-T860 graphics processing unit. In addition, the smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch display that supports full HD (1080p) resolution, as well as a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera.

In the front, the phone will feature a secondary 8-megapixel camera for selfies, while 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage complete the list of the phone's internals.

We also know the One X10's fingerprint sensor will be positioned on the back side, right below the main camera, and that the phone will also include 3.5mm audio jack. One other piece of information that might or might not be accurate is the under $300 price the One X10 will sell for.
