HTC is said to be launching two new Nexus smartphones this year, just like in 2015. One of them will have a bigger screen compared to the other, and we know this since renders or images of the upcoming handsets have already leaked online.

Google is expected to release two Nexus devices under the HTC brand this year, and renders of the two smartphones have already leaked online. The first surfaced over at Android Police, and although they weren't leaked press renders or actual images of the handsets, they did show the design, which very much resembled that of the HTC 10.

The next batch of renders appeared on Reddit, and they featured the two phones in multiple color variants. The first image of an actual running HTC Nexus Marlin surfaced a few days ago, but it didn't provide much information on the device's design.

The new images show a design similar to that of the HTC 10

New renders that have appeared recently show the phone's design, but just like previous leaks, these aren't actual press render. The images do indicate that the upcoming Nexus smartphones will resemble the HTC 10, according to TechDroider. The two smartphones will have the exact design, but one of them will be larger than the other.

In fact, the Nexus Marlin is said to come with a larger display of 5.5 inches while Sailfish is expected to have a 5-inch screen. Both of the smartphones are supposed to come with a metal design, and the fingerprint scanner will be placed on the back.

Nexus Marlin and Sailfish are expected to be unveiled shortly after Google will be releasing the public rollout of Android Nougat 7.0. In fact, these two devices will be the first handsets to come with Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box. Word is that they will have USB Type-C ports, and rear camera capacity on the Nexus Marlin could reach 12MP. Moreover, the phone could draw power from a 3,450mAh battery and come with 4GB of RAM.
