The smartphone has been tipped for Sprint late last month

Good news for HTC fans in the United States, as the Taiwanese company plans to launch another high-end smartphone in the country by the end of this year.

The device that goes by codename HTC Aero has been tipped to arrive at Sprint in late June, but now word is that the smartphone might arrive at other network operators as well.

According to @evleaks, HTC plans to introduce the Aero at AT&T around the same time that the device will go on sale at Sprint.

If that's the case, then there's a high chance HTC Aero will be available for purchase through other major carriers in the US too.

Even though we don't have other sources confirming this information, it's highly unlikely that HTC Aero will be available in the US just at Sprint and AT&T.

There's no word on the pricing options and availability, but we do know the HTC Aero is a high-end smartphone, which means it should be priced at around $700.

Great display, advanced camera

Also, previous rumors point to Q4 2015 as release date for the Aero, but we will certainly learn more in the coming months so stay tuned for more on this one.

Moving on to specs, there's little we know about the Aero. We do know that the smartphone will boast a stunning Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution display of unknown size and that it will come with an advanced rear-facing camera.

The latest hearsay claim the HTC Aero's camera will feature f/1.0 aperture and RAW support, which few smartphones offer at the moment.

There's no info on the chipset inside, but HTC Aero is likely to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

It remains to be seen whether or not HTC will choose the same controversial Snapdragon 810 or the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 instead. Also, we should not rule out the Snapdragon 820, which has not been released yet.
