The smartphone is expected to be revealed on April 12

Rumors about HTC’s upcoming flagship smartphone continue to emerge ahead of its official unveil on April 12. On top of that, the Taiwanese company is teasing details about the HTC 10, which is supposed to be the smartest and fastest handset on the market.

Although the information leaked online comes from credible sources, we now have more reasons to believe the HTC 10 will include some of the best hardware possible.

HTC fans will be pleased to know the upcoming flagship smartphone has just been listed at GFXBench, which means we now have more details on what’s inside.

First of all, the benchmark confirms once again that the HTC 10 will be powered by a 64-bit 2.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with and Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM.

Still no word on battery and advanced camera features

Moreover, HTC 10 will pack a 12-megapixel photo snapper on the back, which features autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording. Advanced photography features are likely to be included in the HTC 10 as well, but we still lack information at the moment.

HTC 10 will boast a vibrant 5.1-inch Super LCD 5 capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, and possibly Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

It’s also worth mentioning that HTC 10 will come in multiple versions based on the amount of storage, but one of these models will pack 32GB of internal memory. We don’t have any confirmation yet, but the flagship might feature microSD card slot for memory expansion as well.

Naturally, HTC 10 will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box, and it will sport a secondary 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

Rumor has it that a fingerprint scanner will be positioned under the Home button. Another piece of information that we have yet to confirm is the fact that HTC 10 will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery and that it will feature Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
