We’re just a few days away from the official unveil of the HTC 10, the next flagship smartphone that Android fans will be able to purchase later this month.

Since word about HTC’s plans to launch its top-tier handset emerged online a few months ago, we’ve been treated to quite a lot of information about its specs. Some pictures of the phone leaked online as well, so we already know what to expect from the HTC 10.

Today, a new set of pictures have been published by Dutch blog GSM Helpdesk and give us an even better look at what’s to come from the Taiwanese company.

Based on the latest teasers released by HTC, the “10” will feature BoomSound technology, but don’t expect the smartphone to sport dual speaker grilles on the front, as previous flagships did.

No dual speaker grilles on the front

The new live pictures show that the HTC 10 only packs a speaker grille above the display, right near the front camera. The Home button is visible as well, which we know will hide a fingerprint scanner underneath.

We’re also given a clear view of the back side, where HTC 10 should pack a 12-megapixel UltraPixel camera and a dual-tone LED flash.

As we mentioned in our previous report, HTC 10 could be the world’s first smartphone to feature a selfie camera with OIS (optical image stabilization).

The rumor mill has also “confirmed” that HTC 10 will be powered by a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with an Adreno 530 graphics processing unit and 4GB of RAM.

HTC 10 should sport a 5.15-inch Super LCD 5 capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. It will also be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery that has been recently praised by HTC.

Naturally, the device will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box, along with HTC Sense 8.0 UI on top.
