HTC 10 is going to be introduced on April 12, so there’s still time for the Taiwanese company to tease some of the features provided by its flagship smartphone.

After hinting to a new BoomSound technology that should deliver a more immersive audio experience to users, HTC is now giving us a glimpse at what its engineers have done with the phone’s battery.

According to a tweet recently published online, HTC 10 should pack an amazing battery since the company’s “engineers are so obsessed with battery life” that they “have turned it into a science.”

HTC also warns fans that they will “feel” this science on April 12 when the “10” will be officially unveiled during a dedicated event in London.

Even though the smartphone will be launched on April 12, it won’t be long until HTC 10 goes on sale. Rumor has it that HTC 10 will hit shelves as early as April 15, but we don’t expect it to be available for purchase on the same in all countries.

A 3,000 mAh battery could be enough for a flagship smartphone

Since HTC hasn’t offered any specific details about its upcoming flagship, we’re left with the information provided by the rumor mill, which says HTC 10 should be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory.

Also, HTC 10 sports a 5.15-inch Super LCD 5 capacitive touchscreen display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution. It will drain energy from a 3,000 mAh battery that has just been praised by HTC.

At the back, the phone will boast a 12-UltraPixel camera while in the front it should feature world’s first selfie camera to pack OIS (optical image stabilization) function.

Naturally, HTC 10 will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system right out of the box, but we’re expecting many other nice surprises from the Taiwanese company to be unveiled next week.
