Four-sided curved panel with no bezels whatsoever

If you've been drooling over Xiaomi's Mi Mix and eventually got upset because the concept phone won't be released outside China, you might be in luck. Huawei's wholly-owned brand Honor is expected to reveal something glorious next week.

Honor officially teased the launch of its new Magic phone for December 16, but little is known about the upcoming device. However, the few details that we've managed to learn are mind-blowing.

The Honor Magic will be a concept phone, just like the Mi Mix, which suggests that it will have limited availability. It will be officially introduced in China, but at the moment, it's hard to tell whether or not it will be released in other countries as well.

Rumor has it that Honor's Magic phone will come with a four-sided curved display, which is supposed to offer an even higher body-to-screen ratio (close to 100%).

Some of you might remember that Xiaomi has claimed the Mi Mix has a 91.3% screen-to-body ratio, but the Chinese company took into consideration the bezels as well. In reality, Xiaomi Mi Mix has a screen-to-body ratio of about 84%.

Honor might remove all bezels completely

But since the Magic phone will feature four-sided curved display, it means Honor found a way to completely remove the top and bottom bezels, as well as the left and right ones.

Even if they are present but very thin, there's a high chance that the Honor Magic will look even more stunning than the Mi Mix.

Unfortunately, aside from some information about the phone's overall design, nothing else is known about the Honor Magic. If we are to guess, the phone will probably pack a mix of mid- and high-end hardware inside.

The good news is we have just enough time for a couple of leaks before the concept phone goes official, so stay tuned for more updates.
