HMD Global, the only company that will launch Nokia-branded handsets in the next 10 years, has just announced two feature phones that will be available next year, Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM.

These are the first feature phones launched by HMD Global, and probably not exactly what Nokia fans would have expected.

However, the Finnish company was pretty clear last month when it said that the first Android smartphones with the Nokia brand on them would be unveiled in February 2017, at the Mobile World Congress.

The Nokia 150 and its dual SIM counterpart are meant to further strengthen the Nokia feature phones portfolio comprised of popular handsets like Nokia 105, Nokia 216, and Nokia 230.

According to HMD, both feature phones will be available for purchase starting Q1 2017 for just $26 before local taxes and subsidies. They will be rolled out first in APAC, IMEA and Europe.

Both Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM will run Nokia Series 30+ OS and will sport small 2.4-inch displays that support 240 x 320 pixel resolution.

HMD also highlights the fact that the 1020 mAh battery powering both devices will provide users with up to 22 hours of talk time and up to 31 days of standby time for single SIM, and up to 25 days for dual SIM.

Nokia 150 and Nokia 150 Dual SIM feature hard-wearing polycarbonate shells and scratch-resistant color. They can be charged via a standard microUSB charger and come with LED torchlight on board.

They also pack rear-facing VGA cameras on the back with LED flash and the ability to share pictures via Bluetooth 3.0 with SLAM. A microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 8GB) is included as well.

Software-wise, aside from the Series 30+ OS, both phones come preloaded with games including classic Snake Xenzia and try and buy Nitro Racing by Gameloft.
