Blizzard has just rolled out a special spotlight video for its next addition to Heroes of the Storm, this time focusing on Rexxar and his unique mechanic, in the form of Misha the bear. The footage, available below, shows off his basic abilities and two heroic ultimates, not to mention some great tips on how to use them. Unfortunately, there's no release date just yet.

Heroes of the Storm is Blizzard's answer to the likes of Dota 2 or League of Legends, and the large studio hopes to muscle in on the crowded multiplayer online battle arena genre with its brawler experience.

The game got a final release at the beginning of June, and since then, Blizzard has rolled out quite a lot of different updates and patches to alter its balance, not to mention quite a few new heroes to augment its already decent roster.

Rexxar joins Heroes of the Storm quite soon

After rolling out Kharazim a few weeks ago, Blizzard is now getting ready to debut its latest addition to the Heroes of the Storm lineup, in the form of Rexxar. The special half-orc/half-ogre hero comes from the Warcraft universe and should be familiar to anyone who's played Blizzard's popular Hearthstone collectible card game, as Rexxar is the Hunter representative.

In Heroes of the Storm, Rexxar is the first ranged warrior character, as he mainly just chucks his throwing axes from a distance into enemies. The main damage-dealer, however, is his loyal bear companion, Misha.

Rexxar's abilities focus on Misha as well as on his other beasts. Spirit Swoop sees the warrior send an eagle to slow down and damage enemies in a straight line. "Misha, charge!" sends the bear into a straight line to stun enemies. Last but not least, Mend Pet heals Misha for a percentage of its health.

In terms of heroic ultimates, Rexxar can activate Bestial Wrath to buff Misha's attack damage, or Unleash the Boards, which lets loose a pack of boars to home in and stun enemies.

You can check out all of Rexxar's skills, as well as a few tips from Blizzard, in the video below. There's no concrete release date for the hero, but he could arrive this week or in the following one.
