Microsoft’s “10 Reasons to Upgrade to Windows 10” video series continues today with a new clip that brings Xbox in the spotlight to emphasize the gaming capabilities of the new operating system.

The software giant thus uses the Xbox app and the streaming capabilities that will allow you to stream from Xbox One to any PC or tablet running Windows 10 as another reason to install the new operating system, explaining that this is the right choice for gamers across the world who want not only to play their favorite games but also to stay in touch with friends and be part of the largest online gaming community.

“Find out why gaming is at its best on Windows 10 with Xbox. From streaming Xbox One games to a PC or tablet, to the biggest franchises and the largest online gaming community, you’ll find many reasons to game with Windows 10,” Redmond says.

DirectX 12

Windows 10 also comes with DirectX 12, which promises stunning performance on the existing video cards, but Microsoft has already confirmed that the new graphics API will only be available on this new operating system version.

In other words, Windows 7 and 8.1 users who want to take advantage of the new DirectX 12 will have to upgrade to Windows 10, but that’s not at all a problem since this upgrade is offered at absolutely no cost if it’s performed in the first 12 months after its launch. This means that you have until July 29, 2016 to upgrade your computer without paying a single cent.

Windows 10 will debut next week for users across the world, and insiders will be the first to get the final bits of the operating system, while Windows 7 and 8.1 upgraders will receive them in waves, depending on the compatibility issues found on their computers.
