Apple is expected to take the wraps off a new-generation iPhone next month, and a video that was published today on YouTube provides us with a closer look at two of the three models that are supposed to be presented at the company’s fall event.

The iPhone 8 and the iPhone 7s Plus will both come with a series of improvements, though only the first will represent a bigger upgrade from the existing design.

This video, however, which highlights dummy units of the two devices, show that both the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 7s Plus are likely to come with a glass body, especially because Apple is aiming at offering wireless charging on all its new models.

While wireless charging has been around for a long time on Android devices, Apple is only now embracing it, after the company reportedly failed at developing a more innovative wireless charging system working across the room.

New cameras on both models

The two devices will come with different camera positions, and while the iPhone 7s Plus will feature a horizontal design as the existing model, the iPhone 8 will go for vertically dual-lens camera, most likely because of the other upgrades made under the hood. Both models, however, are expected to come with performance upgrades in terms of camera.

The display is what makes a bigger difference, as the iPhone 8 will feature a bezel-less panel, while the iPhone 7s Plus will stick with the design of the current model, including the Home button. The bezels will live on in the case of the iPhone 7s Plus, while the iPhone 8 will give up even on the Touch ID fingerprint sensor in order to focus entirely on facial recognition.

Of course, since the models shown here are just dummies of the two devices, it’s better to take it with a somewhat amount of skepticism, but given the previous leaks, there’s a good chance this is what the two iPhones are going to look like.
