Now that Google has taken the wraps off the new Android Wear 2.0 platform, let's take a look at the smartwatches that have already been confirmed to be updated to the new version of the OS.

However, before going into details, it's worth mentioning that Android Wear 2.0 will not be available to all compatible wearable devices at the same time. Each manufacturer will roll out updates to their smartwatches as soon as they can.

According to Google, Android Wear 2.0 will be available for all supported watches in the coming weeks, so that's the closest to a release date that we've got.

The list of compatible Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches contains many Huawei, LG and Motorola products, but some pretty expensive devices made it to the list as well, which shows great customer care from companies that are less known for their experience in the smartwatch industry.

On the other hand, the smartwatch market is relatively young, so the experience gap between these companies is almost insignificant. Without any further ado, let's plunge directly into the list of smartwatches soon to receive Android Wear 2.0 upgrades.

First of all, those of you who've decided to go for Huawei's smartwatches will be pleased to know the Chinese company will have the following products updated to Android Wear 2.0: Huawei Watch and Huawei Watch Ladies.

Furthermore, Motorola plans to provide the major OS update to its Moto 360 Gen 2 and Moto 360 Sport and Moto 360 for Women smartwatches, though an exact release date hasn't been confirmed yet.

Moving on to LG, the South Korean company, just like Fossil and Motorola, has more smartwatches on the list of compatible devices than any other company: LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE, LG Watch Urbane, and LG G Watch R.

Asus ZenWatch 2 and ZenWatch 3 will get the Android Wear 2.0 update as well, and so will the rugged Casio's Smart Outdoor Watch and PRO TREK Smart. The newly launched New Balance Run IQ smartwatch is supposed to be upgraded to Android Wear 2.0 as well.

Here are the rest of the smartwatches confirmed to get the Android Wear 2.0 update very soon: Polar M600, Nixon Mission, Tag Heuer Connected, Fossil Q Wander, Fossil Q Marshal, Fossil Q Founder, Michael Kors Access Bradshaw Smartwatch, and Michael Kors Access Dylan Smartwatch.
