Halo 5: Guardians is such a big release for the Xbox One that it has its own multiple-season making-of documentary, called The Sprint, and the development team at 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft are ready to deliver the first two episodes of the final diaries chronicling the game-making process.

The announcement comes from a Twitter message that has links to both videos, and gamers can also watch both of them on the official Halo Channel.

The first episode of season 3 of The Sprint allows gamers to see and hear from Kazuma Jinnouchi, the composer working on the soundtrack for Halo 5: Guardians, as he creates and records the music.

In the second one, Brien Goodrich, the cinematic director, deals with the motion capture process required to create the opening sequence of the game and also interacts with the composer in order to create a seamless experience for fans.

More videos will be launched for The Sprint before the shooter is finally launched at the end of the month.

The promotional effort for Halo 5: Guardians also includes a second series of Hunt the Truth podcasts, which features a main new character and delivers details about the state of the universe.

Microsoft has also been creating TV spots for the shooter, which give gamers a limited look at the premises of the single-player campaign.

Halo 5: Guardians pits Master Chief against Agent Locke

The narrative will focus on a new and mysterious threat that is ready to attack the galaxy, and the protagonists are facing each other across known and new planets as they seek ways to deal with it.

343 Industries is using two perspectives in order to offer a more complex look at the universe, with the familiar Master Chief joined by Agent Locke, who was introduced in Nightfall, who is now the leader of his own fireteam.

The shooter will also include a complex multiplayer side, which features the all-new Warzone as well as the more familiar Arena, with 343 Industries planning to deliver Big Team Battle after launch with its own set of maps.

Halo 5: Guardians will be out on the Xbox One only and will be available to play starting October 27.
