343 Industries will tweak all of them after launch

There are still two weeks left before the launch date for Halo 5: Guardians, but developer 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft seems determined to give gamers all the details about the process in advance in order to make sure that they can simply enjoy the experience once October 27 actually rolls around.

The two companies are now ready to deliver the official setup for playlists for all the multiplayer modes that gamers will be able to engage with, which have been chosen in order to mix the new and the familiar while keeping matchmaking as smooth as possible.

The first in the line-up is the all-new Warzone for Halo 5: Guardians, which features 12 players on each side and has massive REQ use as well as Artificially Intelligence driven forces.

Gamers will be able to enjoy the core mechanics linked to it on Escape from A.R.C, Raid on Apex 7 and March on Stormbreak.

For the Assault, variation gamers will have access to Dispatch, Array, and Summit.

For Team Arena 343 Industries is offering: Breakout on Gambol and Trident, Slayer on Coliseum, Eden, Plaza, Empire and the Rig, Capture the Flag on Coliseum, Truth and Fathom, Strongholds on The Rig, Eden, and Empire.

Slayer for Halo 5: Guardians is delivered on Coliseum, Plaza, The Rig, Truth, Regret, and Fathom.

Breakout is coming to Gambol, Trident, Trench, Crossfire and Attitude and Free-for-All is being introduced on Eden, Regret, The Rig, Plaza, Orion, and Pegasus.

SWAT, which features not shields and motion trackers, will work on Eden, Regret, The Rig, Plaza, Orion, and Pegasus.

Halo 5: Guardians will also feature a Weekend Social playlists that will be voted on by the community, with those using it able to get bonuses to both experience and the REQ points they earn.

The initial choices have been made with help from the fan community, and the company plans to continue to use both data tracking and player feedback to refine the playlists once Halo 5: Guardians is out.

The studio has already made it clear that all the maps delivered during the first year of life for the Master Chief powered game will be free for everyone and Big Team Battle is also set to arrive before the end of the year.

For those who feel that they need even more variety 343, Industries is planning to launch an extensive set of Forge tools, which should be live before the middle of December.

Gamers can use them to create and share new maps, and the most dedicated of them can also track statistics for themselves and fellow gamers using a free API that the company will offer.

Microsoft and 343 Industries both want Halo 5: Guardians to stay interesting for gamers in the long-term and to gain a foothold in the lucrative eSports space.

For those who do not like competitive multiplayer, the title offers a deep single-player campaign with two protagonists and groups of up to four gamers can play it cooperatively.
