Halo 5: Guardians is a big game with a complex story, and the development team at 343 Industries is using the Hunt the Truth podcast series in order to deliver more details about the state of the world before gamers take control in the new single-player campaign.

A new episode focuses once again on FERO, who was in grave danger at the end of the previous chapter, as she seeks to make sense of some mysterious data.

Blackbox, the newly introduced AI, features prominently, and a face from the past makes a return as the characters talk about the fate of Master Chief once again.

The anomalies that are appearing all over human space are theorized as being a sign of the end time by a religious cult.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Jackals attack the protagonists as they once again try to stay one step ahead of the Office of Naval Intelligence while getting some answers about the anomalies.

Halo 5: Guardians will offer two very different perspectives on the narrative

Gamers will be able to play as both Master Chief and Agent Locke as they chase each other across the galaxy in order to find the truth about a mysterious new threat and discover a way to stop it from affecting the galaxy.

343 Industries says that the campaign will feature more emotions than any other in the series and will offer a more in-depth look at how various factions handle the coming events.

The studio has taken care to offer a distinct personality for the members of both Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris in order to make them appealing to gamers who plan to play the entire story cooperatively.

The multiplayer side of Halo 5: Guardians will feature an entirely new Warzone experience, which mixes PvP and PvE, and gamers also have access to a more competitive Arena mode.

A Forge mode is coming to the game in December, giving them more tools in order to create and share new content.

Halo 5: Guardians will be out on October 27 on the Xbox One, and gamers are also able to get a special version of the home console that uses the familiar theme of the title.
