There are also reports of frame rate issues

The second part of the long awaited Ill-Gotten Gain update for the Online experience associated with Grand Theft Auto V was launched earlier in the day and it seems that deployment went mostly smoothly, apart from one issue that is affecting the car collection for some players.

On the official forums and Reddit members of the community are saying that some of their vehicles have disappeared altogether while other only show the tires, with the actual body nowhere to be seen.

On the official Support site for GTA V the development team at Rockstar acknowledges that cars have some problems.

The studio says that player garages have re-arranged themselves after update 1.28 was launched.

Rockstar adds, "If you think a vehicle is missing, try calling your mechanic and scrolling through your various garages to see if the vehicle was moved to another location erroneously. If you are unable to find your vehicle, please submit a request to our support team and we will assist you."

It's unclear whether the issue is widespread enough to justify the launch of another update from the developers.

Other players are saying that after installing Ill-Gotten Gains for GTA V they see problems with their framerate but Rockstar has not acknowledged that this is an issue associated with the update.

GTA Online is more successful than the company initially though

When the multiplayer element of Grand Theft Auto V was introduced, it had major problems with stability and failed to deliver the amount of activities that fans wanted to see.

Since then the developers at Rockstar have delivered a wide range of updates, adding more jobs, more vehicles, more items and tweaking the core mechanics to make the experience more attractive.

At the moment, GTA Online has become so popular that it seems to be affecting the development of single player downloadable content for the title.

Rumors were talking about an announcement for a new story and a new character that was supposed to arrive in the first half of the year.

Rockstar has not said how it plans to develop GTA V in the coming year and whether it wants to offer more single player action or if the focus will remain on Online, where the community is constantly asking for more content.
