While there are some rumors about the upcoming Nexus phones and Android N, new information shows that Google will also introduce a new support app with some very useful tools.
Google’s new support application will work only on Nexus handsets, according to a new report from Android Police. The report reveals that the Mountain View-based is currently working on an app for live support on Nexus devices, one that would allow users to share screenshots in real time.
The app is called Google Support and will enable users to get help from technicians whenever they encounter a problem with their Nexus phones. The only condition seems to be the fact that those devices must be bought online.

The report doesn’t provide any more details on the application, but it does suggest that, most likely, the app will be launched alongside Android N and the two new Nexus devices.
Speaking of Android N, Google has yet to announce a release date for its latest operating system, but considering that Developer Preview 4 was already released a few days ago, the final and stable version of the OS should come in a few months.
Some specifics on the upcoming Android N have surfaced online, and by the looks of it, Google will also be making some modifications to the navigation bar inside Nexus devices, as it did back in 2014 with Lollipop.
HTC is expected to launch the two upcoming Nexus smartphones, dubbed Sailfish and Merlin, this year. Specs for Sailfish leaked a few hours ago and revealed that it would be the smallest of the two phones, with a 5-inch 1080p display with a pixel density of 440ppi. It should also come with a 2,770mAh battery, 4GB of RAM, and a 12MP camera on the back.
